Knight Jocko

Knight Jocko is a parodic cartoon web series project taking place in the middle-Age in which nowadays topics can find their place and serve the plot. The protagonists form a team à la Monty Python and evolve in a universe close to the Tex Avery one.

At the end of the first season, an interactive version will be released allowing viewers to edit their own Jocko episode. Due to the short length of its episodes, the web series Knight Jocko is the perfect and "easy to share" format for social network platforms like facebook, Youtube, Instagram and others. 

Because of its crazy spirit, its offbeat humor (and sometimes gore), this series has the potential to reach a wide audience and Jocko the vocation to become an emoji.

Synopis 

Knight Jocko is looking for the holy Grail. He wanders from village to village to make justice prevail, in his way ... 

Format 

Format: episodes will be 90 seconds long. 

The first season will have 15 episodes.

Technique used 
The production will be done mainly in Adobe Animate CC to take full advantage of the possibilities given by the animation banks which allow to reuse animations and graphics items. Montage & Compositing will be done in Adobe After-effects.


 Pitches

Excalibur

Excalibur is still in the anvil. Jocko joins the line of knights trying to extract the mighty sword… In his own way.

Merlin

Merlin has become completely insane and very annoying for those around him. Jocko is responsible for taking him to the hospital. On the way, the old man challenges Jocko's nerves.

Richard Lion's Heart

 Jocko delivers king Richard lion's heart held in captivity. Good news! King Richard is alive! Bad news: he is a living dead leading an army of zombies. 

The riddle

 A dragon blocks a bridge leading to Camelot. To pass this bridge  what could possibly be more annoying for a knight than a dragon asking to solve a riddle? A dragon asking to solve seven!

The holy Grail

Jocko arrives in a monastery held by Templars who watch over the Holy Grail which is hidden among a collection of 99 copies. When Jocko is imposed the same challenge as Indiana Jones and must recognize the real Grail among the others, he uses his own logic… with surprising consequences.

About the autor

„My goal has always been to create my films”

Olsen has been working in the Animation Industry alternately as an Animator, a location Designer, a Storyboard artist and a Director.

Since 1990, Olsen has contributed artistically to various animated films, television shows, such as The Adventures of Tintin, Balto, Asterix in America, the Neverending Story, Werner 3, Maja the Bee 2, Doc Mc Stuffin, Marnie's World...etc.

Aware of the evolution of the internet, he thought about creating very earlyWeb series projects among which Igor the Pooh was the most advanced.
